KODAK 3D Printing Filament comes in a vacuum aluminum bag with silica gel to best preserve our filament technical properties. Environmental humidity can greatly affect the polymer's mechanical properties and result in low-quality prints. Hydrolysis makes filament brittle and more prone to breakage, losing its tensile strength, and increasing the extruding temperature. Please, keep KODAK 3D Printing Filament always sealed in the provided Ziploc bag with silica gel and store it in a dry place. For best results and reliability, our filament cartridge has been designed to keep KODAK 3D Printing Filament dry and clean during the whole printing process, thus resulting in a precise and hassle-free printing experience.
Warranty
We warrant KODAK 3D Printing Filament to conform to published technical information for a period of twelve (12) months from the date of the purchase as shown on the invoice. The warranty applies only to filament bought through this Site which presents manufacturer defects.
The warranty does not cover:
- Modifications and/or alterations to the product
- Purchases from unauthorized resellers
- Damage due to shipping and/or improper conservation
All KODAK 3D Printing Filament is intended for 3D printing general and/or educational prototypes and modeling and not for functional end-use parts. You agree that the use of our filament is at your own risk and that you are solely responsible whereas your printed object does violate any laws or infringe any third party intellectual property rights.
Our filament has been tested in various 3D printers and it is your responsibility to verify if it is compatible with yours. We are not liable for any indirect loss or damage to 3D printers or other property or deriving from any printed object. We are not bound to financially compensate the buyer or other parties unless the damage was caused by intention or guilt.
IN NO EVENT SHALL SMART INTERNATIONAL, OR ITS AFFILIATES, MANUFACTURERS OR SUPPLIERS BE LIABLE FOR DIRECT DAMAGES OR OTHER LOSSES OR LIABILITIES DIRECTLY RELATED TO THE PRODUCTS IF AND TO THE EXTENT SUCH DIRECT DAMAGES OR LOSSES EXCEED THE ACTUAL AMOUNT PAID BY THE CUSTOMER FOR THE SPECIFIC PRODUCT(S) OR RELATED SERVICES THAT DIRECTLY GAVE RISE TO THE DAMAGES OR OTHER LOSSES OR LIABILITIES CLAIMED.
Claim Procedure
In order to claim the warranty, you shall provide a dated original proof of purchase, a letter explaining the problem, and satisfactory evidence that the KODAK 3D Printing Filament was defective by emailing us at support@smart3d.tech. We shall not be responsible for returned products improperly packaged or if the original invoice is missing, modified, or made unreadable. Any claims of defects not made within the warranty period shall be expressly waived.
At its unique discretion, Smart International may:
- Adjust the amount on the invoice
- Replace the delivered product with an article with equal specifications
- Take back the delivered product and revoke the agreement, while reimbursing the paid amount by the buyer, without being obliged to financially compensate the buyer for any damage.
