Shipping and Delivery
We ship items out as soon as possible, but this will not always be the same day as your order. In general, please add 2-3 business days to allow for processing time. If we anticipate a longer lead time, it will be noted in the item description.
You should receive an email confirming your order shortly after you’ve placed it. If you don’t receive that email, please check your spam folder and see if you can locate it. This is especially important because, if you haven’t received the order confirmation email, you also won’t receive the email with your shipment notification and tracking information.
In the exceptional case that items cannot be shipped in the desired period, Smart International, Inc. will contact the buyer beforehand to try to arrive at an agreement on how to proceed, including the option to cancel the order.
Orders are shipped to the delivery address noted in the buyer order. Immediately after the goods have been delivered, the buyer bears the risk for all direct and indirect damage that may be caused to or by these goods or components. The buyer also bears the risks of transportation from the moment of delivery. Buyer is responsible for filing any claims against carriers for damaged and/or lost shipments.
Smart International, Inc. is not responsible for delays, loss or damage from shipments sent to incorrect, invalid addresses or correct addresses. Orders may end up being returned for various reasons, including non-payment of tariffs, incorrect address, unclaimed at the post office, etc. If a package is returned or rejected, the buyer will be contacted and will have to pay for re-shipment postage.
Smart International, Inc. does ship internationally with a few exceptions. Please note that you, the buyer, are responsible for any VAT, tariff, duty, taxes, handling fees, customs clearance charges, etc. required by your country for importing consumer goods. We do not collect this beforehand, and can’t give you an estimate of the cost, because it varies widely around the world. Please do your research so you’re ready to get your package cleared through customs, and have an idea of what the additional cost will be.
All of our products are shipped and not eligible for order pickup. You can always purchase our products from one of our retailer closest to you.
