V6 All metal Hotend
- Screw on the nozzle so there is a 200 µm gap between the nozzle and the heat block.NOTE: It's extremely important to leave a gap between the cone of the nozzle and the heat block in order to perform the last adjustment later.
- Screw on the heat break into the heat block.
- Screw on the heatsink onto the heat break.
- Thread the Capricorn Bowden tube through the Heatsink.
- Lock the Bowden tube using a collet clip.
- Push the Bowden tube firmly into the Heatsink to ensure there is no gap between the heat break and the Bowden tube inside the heatsink.
- Insert the heater cartridge and the thermistor into the heat block and affix them both using the correct Allen key.
- Preheat the Hotend to a 205 c temperature using the manual controls (Setup > Manual Controls > Controls).
- When the Hotend has reached 205 c, grab the heat block using pliers and use a wrench to tighten the nozzle to make sure there is no gap between the PTFE Bowden tube and the Nozzle/heatbreak.
- Put the back the silicone cap over the heatblock.
