The KODAK 3D Slicer based on Cura 3.4 allows for the importing of printing profiles.
Profiles can be imported to your current KODAK 3D Slicer version directly.
On the upper menu select Preferences - Configure Cura.
In the preferences window select Profiles.
Select Import, a window popup will show allowing you to locate the place where the profiles were saved. Take into account that only .curaprofile type profiles are allowed to be imported for use.
A popup will indicate that the profile has been imported correctly and it will be ready for use.
The profile will be added to the current list of available profiles and will be ready for use on the KODAK Slicer.
How to import printing profiles in the last Cura version.
In case your operating system does not support KODAK Slicer, we recommend checking this link and download the latest Cura compatible version.
After the installation, follow the procedure below to upload KODAK 3D Materials printing profiles and set your KODAK Portrait 3D Printer.
- Close down Cura
- Download the profile and move it to the Cura folder (e.g. C:\Program Files\Ultimaker Cura 4.13.1)
- Launch Cura
- Settings > Printer > Add Printer...
- Add the KODAK Portrait under Add a non-networked printer
- Go to Preferences > Configure Cura...
- Select Printers > KODAK Portrait > Machine Settings
- Change the values of Compatible material diameter for both extruders to "1.75"
